**Sixth Escapee from New Orleans Jail Apprehended in Baton Rouge: “I Just Wanted Some Gumbo!”**

Authorities say that 32-year-old Clyde “Gumbo Bandit” McGee was found hiding in a pot of jambalaya, claiming he was “just trying to blend in with the locals.”
Witnesses reported seeing McGee, who had been on the lam for a week, casually strolling through a Baton Rouge park wearing a giant foam finger that read “#1 Fugitive.” “I thought he was just really enthusiastic about escaping,” said local jogger Betty Lou, who later added, “I mean, who wouldn’t want to run away from a place that doesn’t serve beignets?”
