**Indian Space Agency’s Satellite Mission Encounters Technical Glitch During Launch: “We Blame the Monkeys!”**
In a shocking turn of events, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) faced a technical glitch during the launch of its latest satellite, aptly named “Oops-1.” The satellite was supposed to provide crucial data on climate change, but instead, it seems to have taken a detour to the nearest chai stall.
Witnesses reported that as the rocket ascended, a loud “pop” was heard, followed by the unmistakable sound of a monkey laughing. “We were just about to send it to Mars when we realized the monkeys in the control room had taken over the joystick,” said Dr. Ramesh “Not That Ramesh” Kumar, the mission’s lead engineer. “They were playing a game of Space Invaders instead of monitoring the launch!”
In a press conference that quickly turned into a comedy show, ISRO’s spokesperson, Ms. Priya “I Swear I’m Not a Monkey” Sharma, stated, “We are currently investigating how a family of monkeys managed to infiltrate our control room. We suspect they were lured in by the promise of unlimited bananas and Wi-Fi.”
The satellite, which was supposed to orbit Earth, is now reportedly circling a local fruit market in Bangalore, sending back data on the best mangoes in the area. “We’re calling it a win,” said local fruit vendor Mr. Singh, who claims sales have skyrocketed since the launch. “I’ve never seen so many scientists buying mangoes!”
As the nation waits for updates, ISRO has assured the public that they are working on a solution. “Next time, we’ll make sure to install monkey-proof locks,” Dr. Kumar added, while nervously eyeing a nearby tree. “And maybe a banana-free zone in the control room.”
In the meantime, the agency has decided to rebrand the satellite as “Oops-1: The Mango Mission,” and is considering a new slogan: “When life gives you glitches, make mango lassi!”
