In a hilarious turn of events, a hungry Alaska black bear’s attempt to snag a quick snack from a trashcan was thwarted by a feisty garbage receptacle in a futile fight that left onlookers in stitches.
The incident took place in the small town of Fairbanks, where residents were left scratching their heads at the sight of a determined bear going head-to-head with a seemingly indestructible trashcan.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the bear, affectionately named “Trashcan Terry” by locals, approach the garbage bin with a look of determination in its eyes. However, what ensued was a comical battle of wills as the bear tried in vain to pry open the lid of the trashcan.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said resident Susan Johnson. “That bear was really going at it, but that trashcan was not giving up without a fight. It was like watching a wrestling match between two unlikely opponents.”
