Who Needs Vaccines When You Have Whooping Cough? These Families Do!

Many forget the damage done by diseases like whooping cough, measles, and rubella. But not these families! They are here to remind us all just how dangerous these illnesses can be, and they are doing it in the most hilarious way possible.

Take the Johnson family, for example. Little Timmy Johnson was recently diagnosed with whooping cough, much to the dismay of his parents, Bob and Karen. When asked about the ordeal, Bob Johnson had this to say, “It’s been a real pain in the neck dealing with Timmy’s whooping cough. But hey, at least we can finally use those sick days we’ve been saving up!”

And let’s not forget about the Smith family. Sally Smith contracted measles after a trip to Disneyland, much to the horror of her parents, John and Sarah. John Smith jokingly remarked, “I guess Mickey Mouse isn’t the only one spreading magic at that place! Who knew measles could be so contagious?”

But perhaps the most outrageous story comes from the Thompson family. Little Tommy Thompson came down with rubella after a visit to the local daycare center, leaving his parents, Mike and Lisa, in a panic. Lisa Thompson exclaimed, “I never thought I’d have to deal with rubella in this day and age! It’s like we’ve been transported back to the 1950s!”

These families may be dealing with serious illnesses, but they are not letting it get them down. Instead, they are using humor to shed light on the importance of vaccinations and disease prevention. So next time you feel a cough coming on, just remember the Johnsons, the Smiths, and the Thompsons, and make sure to take care of yourself and your loved ones. Because as they say, laughter is the best medicine – but a vaccine is pretty good too!
