In a shocking turn of events, Kenan Yildiz, the little-known water boy for Juventus, scored not once, but twice in Juventus’ 4-1 win in the Club World Cup. Fans were left scratching their heads as they watched Yildiz, who was only brought on as a substitute in the 89th minute, steal the show.
“I can’t believe it! I thought he was just there to hand out water bottles, but turns out he’s a secret goal-scoring machine,” said one bewildered fan.
Yildiz’s first goal came in the 90th minute, when he intercepted a pass from the opposing team and dribbled past three defenders before slotting the ball into the back of the net. His second goal, in stoppage time, was even more impressive, as he chipped the goalkeeper from 30 yards out.
When asked about his sudden burst of goal-scoring prowess, Yildiz simply replied, “I guess I just got tired of watching everyone else have all the fun. I wanted to show them what the water boy is capable of.”
His teammates were equally shocked by his performance. Cristiano Ronaldo, who usually dominates the scoring for Juventus, jokingly said, “I think I might need to watch my back now. Kenan is coming for my spot as the top goal-scorer.”
Even the coach of Juventus, Andrea Pirlo, was at a loss for words. “I always knew Kenan had potential, but I never expected this. Maybe I should start giving all the water boys a chance on the field,” he said with a chuckle.
As for Yildiz, he has become an instant fan favorite, with supporters chanting his name and calling for him to start in the next match. Who knows, maybe the water boy will become the next football superstar. Only time will tell.
