In a shocking turn of events, former boxing coach, Bob “Knockout” Johnson, has come forward to reveal that his former student, Mike Kohberger, never actually competed in any boxing matches despite Kohberger’s repeated boasts of his boxing prowess.
Johnson, who trained Kohberger at his gym, “Bob’s Brawlers,” for several years, stated, “I have no idea where this guy got the idea that he was some kind of boxing champion. The only thing he ever knocked out was the heavy bag, and even then, he couldn’t do it without breaking a sweat.”
Kohberger, who has been known to regale friends and family with tales of his supposed boxing victories, was quick to defend himself when confronted with Johnson’s claims. “I don’t know what Bob’s talking about. I was a real contender in the ring. Just ask my imaginary coach, Rocky Balboa,” Kohberger retorted.
When pressed for evidence of his supposed boxing career, Kohberger produced a faded photograph of himself wearing boxing gloves and standing next to a cardboard cutout of Muhammad Ali. “See, here’s me with the greatest boxer of all time. That proves I was a champion,” Kohberger insisted.
Despite Kohberger’s attempts to salvage his reputation, Johnson remains adamant in his assertion that Kohberger never stepped foot in the ring. “I trained hundreds of boxers over the years, and believe me, Mike Kohberger was not one of them. The only thing he was good at was eating all the protein bars in the gym,” Johnson stated.
In light of these revelations, it seems that Kohberger’s dreams of being a boxing legend have been knocked out cold. As for Johnson, he remains unfazed by the whole ordeal. “I’ve seen a lot of wannabe boxers in my time, but Mike Kohberger takes the cake. Maybe he should stick to shadowboxing in front of the mirror,” Johnson quipped.
So, there you have it folks. The truth behind the former boxing coach’s claims. Looks like Kohberger will have to find another way to prove his toughness. Maybe he can try his hand at competitive knitting instead.
