Former DEA snitch turned alleged extortionist, known on the streets as ‘Bowling Ball,’ has found himself in hot water once again. This time, not for ratting out drug kingpins, but for trying to squeeze them for some extra cash.
According to sources close to the investigation, Bowling Ball, whose real name is Harold Horowitz, was caught on tape demanding payment from several high-level cocaine dealers in exchange for not turning them in to the authorities. One dealer, who wishes to remain anonymous, said, “I couldn’t believe it when Bowling Ball came to me with his hand out. I thought we had a good thing going with the DEA, but I guess he wanted a piece of the action too.”
When reached for comment, Bowling Ball denied the allegations, stating, “I was just trying to help these guys out by giving them a heads up about a potential raid. I never asked for any money in return.” However, sources say that Bowling Ball was caught on tape saying, “I know where the bodies are buried, and if you want me to keep my mouth shut, it’s gonna cost you.”
The DEA, who have been monitoring Bowling Ball’s activities for months, were shocked to discover that their former informant had gone rogue. Special Agent Johnson, who oversaw Bowling Ball’s work as a snitch, said, “I never would have believed that Harold would stoop to this level. He was always so eager to help us take down the bad guys. I guess the lure of easy money was just too much for him to resist.”
In a bizarre twist, it turns out that Bowling Ball’s real motivation for extorting the cocaine kingpins was to fund his dream of opening a bowling alley in the Caribbean. When asked about his plans for the business, Bowling Ball replied, “I just want to bring the joy of bowling to the tropical islands. Who wouldn’t want to bowl in paradise?”
As Bowling Ball awaits trial for extortion charges, one thing is for sure – this former DEA snitch may have bowled his last strike in the world of crime fighting. And who knows, maybe he’ll find success in the world of tropical bowling instead.
