In a surprising turn of events, Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer has decided to plow ahead with a war powers resolution despite a ceasefire being in place. When asked about his decision, Schumer simply shrugged and said, “I’ve got a plow and I’m not afraid to use it.”

One anonymous source within Schumer’s office revealed, “Chuck is like a dog with a bone when it comes to this resolution. He just can’t let it go, no matter how many times we tell him the ceasefire is in effect.”
Even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell weighed in on the situation, saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it. Schumer is like a bull in a china shop, just plowing through everything in his path.”
Despite the backlash, Schumer remains unfazed. In a recent press conference, he declared, “I will not rest until this war powers resolution is passed. I will plow through any obstacles in my way, even if it means plowing through a ceasefire.”
