ICE to LA Mayor: You go home first!

In a shocking turn of events, ICE has decided to flip the script on Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti after he told authorities to “go home” in English. The Mayor’s words seemed to have backfired as ICE agents have taken his advice quite literally and are now refusing to leave the city.

When asked about the situation, ICE spokesperson Agent Smith had this to say, “Well, the Mayor told us to go home, so we did just that. But now we’ve decided that home is right here in Los Angeles. So thanks for the invitation, Mayor Garcetti!”

Mayor Garcetti, who is known for his progressive views on immigration, is now facing the consequences of his own words. In a desperate attempt to rectify the situation, he has been seen frantically trying to convince ICE to leave the city. However, his efforts seem to be in vain as the agents have made themselves quite comfortable in their new home.

In response to the Mayor’s pleas, Agent Smith replied, “Sorry, Mr. Garcetti, but we’re here to stay. We’ve already found a nice little spot in Hollywood and we’re not going anywhere. Plus, we heard the weather is much nicer here than in D.C.”

The city of Los Angeles is now facing a dilemma as ICE agents roam the streets, causing chaos and confusion among the residents. Some have even reported seeing agents participating in local events, such as farmers markets and yoga classes.

In a statement released by the Mayor’s office, Garcetti expressed his frustration with the situation, saying, “I never thought telling ICE to go home would actually result in them moving in next door. This is definitely not what I had in mind.”

As the standoff between ICE and Mayor Garcetti continues, one thing is for certain – Los Angeles will never be the same. And who knows, maybe next time the Mayor will think twice before telling authorities to go home. Or maybe he should just stick to speaking in Spanish from now on.
