NCAA Considers Letting College Kids and Coaches Gamble on the Pros – Because What Could Go Wrong?

In a shocking turn of events, the NCAA is reportedly considering a proposal that would allow college athletes and staff to bet on professional sports. Yes, you heard that right – the same organization that has strict rules against gambling is now thinking about letting their own members get in on the action.

When asked about the reasoning behind this proposal, NCAA spokesperson Bob McBoberson said, “Well, we figured since everyone else is doing it, why not us? Plus, it’ll give our athletes a little extra motivation to win, if you know what I mean.”

The proposal has sparked outrage among many in the sports world, with former NCAA star Johnny Baller declaring, “This is ridiculous! I didn’t bust my butt on the court just to have some freshman blow all his money on a bet against the Lakers.”

But not everyone is against the idea. Coach Rick “Big Money” Johnson of the University of Cashflow has voiced his support, stating, “If these kids want to make some extra cash on the side, who am I to stop them? As long as they’re still hitting the books and hitting the court, I say let them have their fun.”

However, not everyone is convinced that this proposal is a good idea. Former NCAA coach Sally “No Way Jose” Sanchez has spoken out against it, saying, “This is a disaster waiting to happen. We already have enough scandals in college sports without adding gambling into the mix. It’s just asking for trouble.”

Only time will tell if this proposal will actually come to fruition. But one thing’s for sure – if it does, March Madness will take on a whole new meaning. Place your bets, folks!
