In a shocking turn of events, a group of unsuspecting beachgoers on Florida’s Anna Maria Island were struck by lightning during a recent thunderstorm. While most of the group miraculously escaped unharmed, one unlucky individual was not so lucky.
Witnesses described the incident as “electrifying” and “shocking,” with one beach bum named Chad exclaiming, “I never thought I’d see the day when lightning strikes a group of people on the beach! It was like a scene out of a bad disaster movie.”
The victim, who we’ll call Larry for legal reasons, was reportedly enjoying a relaxing day at the beach when the storm rolled in. Eyewitnesses claim that Larry was the only one foolish enough to stay outside despite the ominous dark clouds looming overhead.
