Florida Man’s Hot Car Haircut and Happy Hour: Toddler Left to Cook to Perfection

In a shocking turn of events, a Florida dad has been arrested after his toddler tragically died in a hot car while he allegedly got a haircut and ‘went drinking’. Yes, you read that right – this dad’s priorities were clearly not in check.

According to police reports, 36-year-old John Smith claimed he had simply “lost track of time” while getting his hair styled at the local salon. When asked about the incident, Smith reportedly said, “I just needed a little me-time, you know? I didn’t realize my kid was still in the car!”

But that’s not all – witnesses at the bar where Smith allegedly went drinking after his haircut claimed he was seen downing shots and dancing on tables while his poor child was left sweltering in the car. One witness, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “I couldn’t believe it. He was having the time of his life while his kid was suffering in the heat. It was like a bad episode of a reality TV show.”

When police arrived on the scene, they found the toddler unresponsive in the backseat of the car. Despite efforts to revive the child, it was too late. Smith was immediately taken into custody and charged with neglect and manslaughter.

In a bizarre twist, Smith’s lawyer, Bob McBoberson, argued that his client was simply trying to set a new trend of ‘hot car haircuts’. “My client was just ahead of his time. He was pioneering a new form of self-care that unfortunately went terribly wrong,” McBoberson stated.

As the community reels from this tragic event, one thing is for sure – parents everywhere are being reminded of the importance of responsible childcare. Let this be a lesson to all: never leave your child in a hot car while you go get a haircut and hit the bars. It’s just not a good look.
