The White House has a hilarious suggestion for Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett after she called Trump supporters ‘sick’ in a recent outburst. Press Secretary Jen Psaki held a press conference this morning to address the controversial comments made by Crockett, and let’s just say, her response was pure comedy gold.
Psaki began the conference by stating, “We here at the White House believe in unity and understanding, even when it comes to those who may have differing political views. Calling Trump supporters ‘sick’ is simply not productive or helpful in any way. That’s why we have a special offer for Ms. Crockett – we would like to invite her to a ‘Make America Great Again’ rally, so she can see firsthand just how ‘sick’ these supporters really are.”
When asked about the logistics of the invitation, Psaki replied with a wink and a laugh, “Oh, don’t worry, we’ll make sure she gets a front row seat next to a ‘sick’ Trump supporter who will be more than happy to share their thoughts on why they support the former president. It’s sure to be a real eye-opener for Ms. Crockett!”
In response to the White House’s offer, Crockett’s office released a statement saying, “I appreciate the invitation, but I think I’ll pass. I’ve already seen enough ‘sick’ behavior from Trump supporters on social media to last a lifetime. I’ll stick to my own rallies where we promote love and acceptance for all, regardless of political affiliation.”
As for Trump himself, he couldn’t resist getting in on the action, tweeting, “Looks like Jasmine Crockett is too scared to face the truth about my amazing supporters! Sad! Maybe she should spend less time insulting them and more time listening to what they have to say. #MAGA”
It seems like this feud between Crockett and Trump supporters is far from over, but at least the White House is here to inject some much-needed humor into the situation. Who knew politics could be so entertaining?
